Job Title: Research Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our research team as a Research Scientist. The successful candidate will work on the Early Morning Ionosphere-Thermosphere System (EMITS) project, focusing on ionospheric research.

The role involves gathering and analyzing various observational datasets to investigate the EMITS system in low and midlatitudes. This includes assisting in data collection, processing, and interpretation, as well as contributing to the development of research articles and reports.

To be eligible for this position, applicants should hold a Master's degree or higher in Physics, Atmospheric Science, Meteorology, Space Physics, Geophysics, or a related field. Proficiency in programming languages such as Matlab or Python is also desirable, along with knowledge of Atmospheric Science, Space physics, or Plasma physics.

Key responsibilities:

Required qualifications:

  • M.Sc./BS-MS/Four-year B.Sc.(Honors) in Physics, Atmospheric Science, Meteorology, Space Physics, Geophysics, or a related discipline
  • Proficiency in Matlab or Python programming
  • Knowledge of Atmospheric Science, Space physics, or Plasma physics
