Job Title: Senior Air Export Operations Specialist

Job Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely and efficient cargo movement through effective air export operations management.
  • Coordinate with overseas agents and partners to execute smooth shipments, maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates on shipment status to shippers/clients, ensuring transparency and trust.
  • Negotiate rates with airlines and IATA agents to secure competitive pricing for clients.
  • Book cargo space efficiently, taking into account client needs and preferences.
  • Plan shipments strategically, balancing speed and cost considerations.
  • Maintain strong contacts with airlines, IATA agents, and co-loaders to ensure ongoing rate competitiveness.
  • Manage overseas communication effectively, sending Pre-Alerts to overseas agents and shippers as required.
  • Prepare and manage export documentation accurately, including MAWB/HAWB (manual and via CargoWise/SAP).
  • Handle billing processes for local shippers and overseas agents efficiently.
  • Prepare the Daily Status Report (DSR) / MIS for air shipments, providing valuable insights.
  • Verify and check necessary export documentation before dispatch, ensuring compliance.
  • Conduct shipment tracking and monitoring for all air export consignments, ensuring prompt resolution of any issues.
  • Handle post-shipment documentation in accordance with requirements.
  • Coordinate with Customs House Agents (CHA) for air export clearance and shipment updates.
