Job Role: Oracle Database Architect

Job Description

Leverage your expertise in Oracle database administration to lead the design, implementation, and management of enterprise databases.

This senior role involves overseeing multiple aspects of database infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential for successful project outcomes.

  • Database Administration: Design, implement, and manage Oracle database architecture to meet business needs.
  • Performance Tuning: Optimize database performance using AWR, ASH, OEM, and advanced tuning techniques.
  • Backup and Recovery: Implement robust backup/recovery strategies using RMAN and/or third-party tools.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure database compliance with security, audit, and regulatory standards (SOX, ISO, etc.).
  • Capacity Planning: Participate in capacity planning, infrastructure scaling, and cloud database strategy (OCI, AWS RDS, etc.).
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Deep knowledge of Oracle database administration, including 11g, 12c, 19c, and 21c.
  • Experience with SAP Basis-related database administration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
