Cloud Infrastructure Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Operations Engineer to fill this key position. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud infrastructure, scripting/programming, monitoring, and cost optimization with a passion for improving reliability and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as the go-to expert for monitoring and optimizing cloud infrastructure costs across AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms.
- Closely track daily/weekly usage, spending patterns, and billing reports, and highlight anomalies.
- Develop and maintain scripts/automation for cost reporting, resource clean-up, and efficiency improvements using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to right-size compute, storage, and database resources.
- Identify and implement reserved instances, savings plans, auto-scaling policies, and storage lifecycle policies to reduce spend.
- Leverage native tools like AWS Cost Explorer, CloudWatch, GCP Billing, as well as third-party monitoring platforms.
- Contribute to SRE/DevOps practices by monitoring infrastructure reliability while balancing costs.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP services (EC2, S3, IAM, GKE, BigQuery, etc.).
- Experience in cloud cost monitoring & optimization.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (Python, Bash, Shell, etc.).
- Understanding of SRE concepts: reliability, scalability, monitoring, and automation.
- Prior experience in cost analysis and optimization for enterprise workloads.
