**Job Title:** Expert Mechanical Solutions Coordinator

The role of the Expert Mechanical Solutions Coordinator is pivotal in supporting technical experts in resolving complex issues, primarily focusing on main bearing related tasks. The specialist will be responsible for creating and maintaining documentation for mechanical components in a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, as well as updating management about potential serial defects.

This position requires expertise in dealing with unexpected situations and time-sensitive tasks on a daily basis. Key responsibilities include working in a globally responsible team, serving as a point of contact for technical issues between local and central business units, and assigning tasks along the technical support process.

Some key accountabilities include collecting information about mechanical component performance, identifying and reporting potential serial issues, evaluating risk potential, and scheduling necessary activities related to major non-conformities.

The specialist will also support local business units in developing sustainable solutions for mechanical problems related to wind turbine drive trains, create repair and inspection instructions for mechanical component assemblies, and define service processes for mechanical assemblies.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and data manipulation skills in Excel, excellent organizational and time management skills, and strong multitasking abilities. Additionally, they should have good stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

The specialist should hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work independently. Knowledge of PLM systems, SAP, and troubleshooting skills are highly desirable.

Personal profile requirements include excellent communication skills, adaptability to change, and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. The specialist should be able to deal with unexpected difficulties and possess strong technical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will be a member of global teams, able to work independently, and possess comprehensive skills. A valid Global Wind Organisation (GWO) certification, including work at height, is highly desirable.

With a minimum of 6-8 years of experience in mechanical drive trains and roller bearings, preferably from the wind industry, the successful candidate will have a strong background in design, development, and evaluation of fault conditions and error analysis. They will be a strong project coordinator or have similar experience.
