Business Intelligence Solutions Architect

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Solutions Architect to join our team at myGwork, an inclusive employer and a member of the LGBTQ+ business community. This role is part of Amazon's AGI-DS Analytics division.
The salary for this position is approximately $140,000 - $170,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
About the JobThis is a challenging opportunity for a Business Intelligence Engineer to help us extract meaning from large volumes of data and make timely, accurate, and actionable business decisions. The ideal candidate will have experience working with business intelligence tools, modeling multidimensional datasets, and partnering effectively with business leaders to answer key business questions.
You will engage with leadership and diversified customer groups to understand their needs and recommend business intelligence solutions. You will partner with Data engineering teams to define the data elements and structure that the team should leverage to enable analytical capabilities. Additionally, you will design, implement, and support platforms that provide business teams ad-hoc access to large datasets.
As a Business Intelligence Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for owning the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, and other business-critical deliverables. You will participate in strategic and tactical planning discussions and standardize data and report consumption across all customer groups.
Responsibilities- Engage with leadership and customer groups to understand their needs and recommend business intelligence solutions.
- Partner with Data engineering teams to define the data elements and structure that the team should leverage to enable analytical capabilities.
- Design, implement, and support platforms that provide business teams ad-hoc access to large datasets.
- Interface with business customers, gathering requirements and delivering complete reporting solutions.
- Owning the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, and other business-critical deliverables.
- Participate in strategic and tactical planning discussions.
- Standardize data and report consumption across all customer groups.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL experience.
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS, and Matlab.
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling.
- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets.
