Embedded Automation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Python automation engineer with expertise in scripting, automation, and embedded systems.

Job Description:

As an Embedded Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automation scripts using Python and Shell scripting. You will work in Linux-based environments to execute and automate test workflows, integrate test scripts with Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment, run, debug, and triage automated/scripted test cases, analyze test failures, and report bugs using JIRA or equivalent tools. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams in embedded or semiconductor projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Shell scripting.
  • Work in Linux-based environments to execute and automate test workflows.
  • Integrate test scripts with Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment.
  • Run, debug, and triage automated/scripted test cases.
  • Analyze test failures and report bugs using JIRA or equivalent tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in embedded or semiconductor projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong coding experience in Python scripting.
  • Proficiency in Shell scripting.
  • Hands-on experience in Linux environments.
  • Prior experience working with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
  • Exposure to semiconductor or embedded domain workflows.
  • Experience in running, debugging, and maintaining automated test cases.
  • Knowledge of bug tracking systems like JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.
