Senior PCB Designer Job

We are looking for a skilled Senior Printed Circuit Board Designer with expertise in schematic and layout design, validation, board bring up, and debugging.

  • Responsibilities include designing multilayer PCB layouts, working with high-speed mixed signals, HDI boards, BGA packages using blind and buried via techniques, and latest interfaces like USB, Ethernet, CAN, etc.
  • The ideal candidate will have knowledge of differential routing, length matching routing, impedance routing, awareness of constraints and the use of constraint managers, ability to minimize EMI/EMC problems, and proficiency in DFM & DFA analysis, Gerber, and ODB++ checking.
  • Experience with IPC standards, proficient in schematic design entry in Allegro tool, and expertise in schematic and PCB layout reviews for internal and customer projects is required.
  • Additionally, the candidate should be able to develop relationships with PCB vendors, coordinate manufacturing-related issues, and approve BOMs and their releases.
  • Skilled in board bring-ups, debugging, and testing, familiarity with UART, I2C, LCD, SPI, QSPI, CSI2, CAN communication protocols, and mentor junior engineers and participate in design/code reviews.

Key Requirements

  • A proven track record of 10+ successful production-level PCBs.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with third-party vendor interactions and review of work.
  • Good knowledge of industrial PCB design tools and flow.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD workflows.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in electronics and communication engineering.
