Electronics Design Engineer

As a skilled electronics design engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development of aerospace electronics products and printed circuit cards. You will work closely with the project leader to ensure that all design requirements are met.

  • Selecting appropriate electronic components for circuit design and schematic entry.
  • Performing circuit analysis for tolerance, power, thermal, and worst-case analysis.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing layout guidelines and working with layout engineers to ensure successful implementation.

Board bring-up and testing, environmental testing, process quality, and program compliance are also key responsibilities.

As an experienced electronics design engineer, you will utilize your technical expertise to support decision-making on design and implementation during product hardware development.

You will participate in high-level and low-level design reviews and exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria within the field of electronics engineering.

Key qualifications include a degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or Electrical Engineering, with 7-8 years of experience in electronics hardware involving digital/microprocessor circuits fundamentals, power, and EMI circuits.

A strong understanding of electrical design experience with High-Speed Digital or Mixed Signal Design is required, along with practical experience in analysis/troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a focus on results, sense of urgency, and boundary-less working capabilities.

Experience in grounding and shielding techniques, chassis design for good EMC, thorough knowledge of board design, EMI filter design, lightning analysis, component selection, and mentoring schematic and layout tools is highly advantageous.
