We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to lead our data warehousing and engineering efforts.

The ideal candidate will have experience designing and implementing scalable data warehouses and data lakes on AWS infrastructure, leveraging open-source technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Warehouse Design and Implementation: Design, build, and maintain a PostgreSQL-based data warehouse for scalable analytics and reporting.
  • Data Pipeline Development: Develop and manage data pipelines (batch and streaming) for ingestion, transformation, and storage.
  • Data Lake Architecture: Architect and maintain a data lake on AWS infrastructure.
  • Query Optimization: Optimize queries, indexing, and schema design for performance and scalability in PostgreSQL.
  • Best Practices Alignment: Ensure solutions align with modern open-source data engineering best practices.
Collaboration and Delivery:
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with product, analytics, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality, reliable data solutions.
  • Business Requirements Translation: Translate business and analytics requirements into scalable data models and pipelines.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Data Quality and Governance:
  • Data Quality Checks: Implement data quality checks, lineage tracking, and metadata management.
  • Data Security Compliance: Ensure compliance with data security and governance standards.
