As a senior data engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient solutions on the Databricks platform.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with Databricks, including platform architecture, data engineering, and data analytics. Proficiency in languages such as Python, Scala, or Java is also required, as well as experience with Databricks APIs, Spark, and Delta Lake.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement complex data pipelines and architect robust data lakes using Databricks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy machine learning models and analytics solutions on Databricks.
  • Optimize Databricks cluster performance to ensure efficient resource utilization and cost-effectiveness.
  • Implement Databricks security features and maintain compliance with industry regulations.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience working with Databricks and related technologies.
  • Strong background in data engineering, including data warehousing, ETL, and data governance.
  • Proven experience leading technical teams and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Good to Have:

  • Databricks Certified Professional certification.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of machine learning concepts and popular ML libraries.
