Electronics Account Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated Electronics Account Development Manager to join our team at Molex. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue expansion through strategic account development and management.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned sales professional with a strong background in electronics industry sales to leverage their expertise and build long-term relationships with key decision-makers across various functional groups and distributors.
You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to meet or exceed yearly sales targets, while also fostering strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to drive business growth and profitability.
Responsibilities- Sales Development:
- Identify new sales opportunities through market research, customer feedback, and industry trends.
- Develop and execute sales plans to penetrate new accounts and expand existing ones.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers to drive sales growth and revenue expansion.
- Pre-Sales Activities:
- Qualify leads and identify potential opportunities through customer interactions and market analysis.
- Support customers' RFQs and periodic business reviews to negotiate prices and win new business.
- Drive incremental sales pipeline creation through effective communication and relationship-building.
- Sales Activities:
- Prepare sales calls, presentations, and reports to ensure consistent and effective communication with customers.
- Review RFQs, negotiate prices, and close deals to meet sales targets.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of the competition.
- Account Management:
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within the industry.
- Foster open communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders to drive business growth and profitability.
- Regularly review and update customer profiles to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience in the electronics industry, preferably with design-in experience with OEMs/ODMs.
- Proven track record of building strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within the industry.
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
