Job Title : Lead Data Scientist

About the Role :

  • We are seeking a seasoned data science leader to spearhead innovative data-driven solutions enhancing healthcare outcomes.
  • The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in data science with a deep understanding of healthcare data, compliance requirements, and industry challenges.
  • This role requires collaboration with clinicians, researchers, and stakeholders to translate complex medical and operational problems into scalable data science solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models tailored to healthcare and life sciences use cases such as patient risk prediction, clinical decision support, medical imaging analysis, and healthcare operations optimization.
  • Manage end-to-end data science projects, from data exploration and feature engineering to model development, validation, and deployment.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy and security standards (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, GDPR).
  • Partner with data engineering teams to design robust pipelines for EHR, claims, clinical trial, genomic, and imaging data.
  • Implement MLOps practices for productionizing models with continuous monitoring and improvement.

Requirements :

  • 6-8 years of hands-on Data Science experience with at least 2+ years in the Health Care domain.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, R, SQL and libraries/frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Keras, Hugging Face.
  • Domain expertise in healthcare datasets : EHR, EMR, claims, clinical trial data, medical imaging, genomics, and unstructured clinical notes.
