Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Tableau Developer to join our team as a Lead Data Strategist. As a key member of our analytics department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards using Tableau Desktop.

 

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop data visualizations to effectively communicate insights and trends to stakeholders.
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify areas for improvement and optimize data visualization tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and gather feedback on dashboard performance.
  • Develop and maintain data models, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity across multiple sources.
  • Optimize Tableau workbooks and dashboards for performance, ensuring fast load times and efficient use of system resources.

 

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Tableau Developer or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of database concepts and SQL.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
  • Understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Tableau Desktop for dashboard development, data visualization, and report creation.
  • Familiarity with Tableau Server for publishing and sharing dashboards.
  • Experience in data integration, data modeling, and ETL processes.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
  • Tableau Desktop or Tableau Server certifications demonstrate advanced proficiency and may be preferred.
  • Additional experience working with other data visualization tools such as Power BI, QlikView, or D3.js.
  • Experience in data analysis, data mining, or business intelligence roles.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of advanced Tableau features such as calculated fields, parameters, sets, and LOD expressions.
  • Experience in performance tuning and optimization of Tableau workbooks and dashboards.
