Job Title

We are seeking an exceptional leader to head our Mainframe and Legacy Modernization practice.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of technology, domain, and industry, coupled with strong leadership capabilities.

This role requires a strategic and problem-solving mindset, along with a proven track record of driving high-performance measures.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Practice Leadership
  2. Develop and maintain a differentiated portfolio of offerings, drive practice growth, and manage client relationships by building a strong contextualized value proposition for clients across the value chain.
  1. Solution Development
  2. Collaborate with other practices to develop winning solutions, build a strong pool of technologists and architects to bring thought leadership to solution development and implementation.
  3. Drive and deploy effective technical scope management and solutioning across the practice, engage in deal solutioning for complex programs, and help define solutions for clients.
  4. Determine the right solution choices to ensure delivery of the right outcomes.
  1. Delivery Excellence
  2. Institutionalize capabilities of Nex-Gen Solutions, including AI into delivery teams, mobilize certification and learning programs aligned with industry standards.
  3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure fulfillment, technology support, and flawless delivery of projects.
  4. Review and finalize account/project delivery structure by evaluating budget, costs, risks, and staffing requirements.
  1. Client Partnership
  2. Drive high client satisfaction by creating a strong value proposition for clients across the value chain, sharing capabilities and initiatives to support and fulfill client needs.
  3. Partner with clients to drive transformation, adapting to new delivery models and instilling new ways of working in client organizations.
  1. Capability Building
  2. Spearhead demand forecasting and resource planning aligned to requirements, create and deploy workforce plans to fulfill required demand from all talent channels.
  3. Build and execute future-ready workforce strategies, drive fungibility or multi-skill approach within the practice, lead upskilling initiatives across the practice by identifying essential skills required.

  2. Lead the evolution of the mainframe practice into a hybrid/cloud and DevOps model, evaluate and adopt emerging tools and technologies such as DevOps for mainframe, COBOL modernization, and AI/ML for operations.
