We are seeking an experienced Cloud Data Architect to join our team. As a Cloud Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-based data solutions.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud-based data architectures, including data lakes, pipelines, and warehouses. You will work with cross-functional teams to transform complex business needs into robust data architectures.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud-based data architectures – data lakes, data pipelines, and warehouses
  • Build optimized data models (star/snowflake schema) to power BI and analytics use cases
  • Work with big data tools like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and more
  • Manage both relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases
  • Build secure, compliant data solutions in line with GDPR/CCPA
  • Automate infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, and CI/CD tools
  • Collaborate with analytics teams and integrate ML frameworks and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)

Requirements:

  • Experience in data architecture and engineering
  • Strong hands-on with GCP, AWS, or Azure cloud platforms
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python/Java/Scala
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and IaC
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills

Preferred:

  • Cloud certifications (AWS/GCP/Azure)
  • Experience with large-scale cloud migration projects
