Enterprise Integration Specialist

As a seasoned Enterprise Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and configuring enterprise service repository (ESR) and integration directory, as well as implementing interfaces and adapters using various protocols such as IDoc/ALE, RFC, SOAP/REST, File/FTP/SFTP, JDBC, JMS, HTTP, and AS2.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and configure SAP PI/PO AEX, including ESR/integration directory, ICOs, channels, adapter modules, runtime workbench/PI monitoring, and end-to-end troubleshooting.
  • Implement interfaces and adapters using various protocols, including secure interfaces with certificates, OAuth/basic auth, proxies, and load balancers.
  • Develop mappings and implement graphical mappings, XSLT, Java mappings, UDFs, error handling, persistency, and reprocessing, as well as BPM/BPMN for orchestration and correlation.
  • Optimize operations and performance by tuning queue/thread, cache refresh, channel tuning, EO/EOIO design, large message handling, archiving/housekeeping, alerting, and RCA.
  • Ensure security and compliance by managing keystores, TLS mutual auth, SSO/SNC basics, CTS+/ChaRM transport governance, audits, and documentation.
Desirable Skills:
  • SAP CPI (Cloud Integration) exposure, including iflows, OData/SF/Ariba/SuccessFactors adapters, certificates, and migration from PI/PO to CPI.
  • Integration patterns and APIs, including event-driven integration with JMS/Kafka gateways, API management, rate limiting, and caching.
  • Knowledge of S/4HANA and ECC integration, including IDoc extensions, proxy generation (ABAP/ESR), and OData/RFC performance tuning.
  • DevOps/Cloud expertise, including deployments on AWS/Azure/GCP, containerization of PO (where applicable), automation via Ansible/Groovy/Shell, monitoring with SolMan/Focused Run/ELK/Splunk, and Git-based versioning for mappings/artifacts.
  • Certifications in SAP Certified Development Associate – Process Integration/Orchestration and cloud provider certifications.
