Effective IT professionals are essential in today's technology-driven world. We seek a skilled and experienced Windows system administrator to join our team.

Job Description

As a key member of the IT department, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining Windows servers in both on-premises and cloud environments. Your primary focus will be on ensuring system availability and reliability, as well as monitoring performance metrics to optimize overall system efficiency.

You will also be required to perform regular system updates, patches, and security configurations to prevent potential threats and maintain compliance with industry standards.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will collaborate with development teams to support application deployment and maintenance, automate routine tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell, and ensure that all systems and processes adhere to security policies and procedures.

Moreover, you will provide technical support and guidance to junior team members, documenting system configurations, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuity within the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7–10 years of experience in Windows system administration.
  • Proficiency in managing Windows servers (Windows Server 2012/2016/2019) in both on-premises and cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and services (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
  • Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong scripting skills (PowerShell).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
