Seeking an ambitious and analytical professional to join our investment team as a Venture Capital Investment Analyst. This role offers hands-on experience in early-stage investing, startup evaluation, portfolio management, and ecosystem engagement.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for startups, venture capital, and innovation, with excellent analytical skills and the ability to assess market trends and business models.

  • Conduct thorough market size analysis, evaluate products/services, including technology moats, assess teams, business models, and financials, identify risk factors, and analyze competitive landscapes and funding histories.
  • Support the investment team in commercial due diligence, financial due diligence, and legal due diligence, coordinating with professional firms to oversee their diligence findings.
  • Assist in sourcing opportunities from founder networks, investment bankers, and the startup ecosystem, screening startups, reviewing pitch decks, and conducting preliminary assessments based on deal evaluation metrics.
  • Engage with portfolio companies, assisting in the preparation of updates on the companies and supporting founders with research and go-to-market strategies.
  • Attend startup events, demo days, and network with founders, accelerators, and fellow investors.
  • Prepare compliance documentation and internal records.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A strong understanding of business, finance, economics, engineering, or related fields.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in startups, consulting, investment banking, or finance is a plus.
