Job Title: Senior Equity Research Associate

Location: Gurgaon / Bangalore / Pune

About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Equity Research Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining financial models, conducting scenario analysis, and providing investment recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate financial models with thorough scenario analysis
  • Carry out DCF, relative, SOTP, and other relevant valuation methods
  • Screen large datasets to identify investment ideas and assist in decision-making
  • Discuss investment ideas and stock updates with senior management
  • Prepare earnings reviews, previews, attend conference calls, and management meetings
  • Create and update databases
  • Analyze news and market trends
  • Handle ad-hoc research requests

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent financial modeling skills and ability to think critically
  • Strong research report-writing and presentation-making skills
  • Good client relationship management skills and communication skills
  • An eye for detail and ability to handle multiple tasks with tight deadlines
  • Numerical abilities and analytical skills
  • Ability to build complex, error-free models with well-defined revenue/cost driver assumptions
  • Carrying out earnings sensitivity analysis and providing own valuation views
  • Writing skills and ability to write logically and structurally
