Job Overview

  • A Senior Project Manager will lead multiple HVAC projects, coordinating the installation, testing, and commissioning of systems across various sites.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Manage, plan, and coordinate HVAC system installations to meet timelines, quality standards, and project goals.
  • Installation & Commissioning: Oversee the installation and commissioning of HVAC systems, ensuring they meet specifications and industry standards.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing to ensure HVAC systems are functional, safe, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing issues promptly to prevent delays.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation, including project schedules, progress reports, and test results. Prepare regular reports for stakeholders.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to avoid delays or cost overruns.
  • Vendor & Supplier Management: Collaborate with vendors to procure materials and equipment, monitoring their quality and delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 14-18 years of experience in HVAC project management, including installation, testing, and commissioning.
  • Solid understanding of HVAC design, installation, testing, and commissioning, with experience in residential and commercial projects.
  • P&L Understanding: Basic understanding of profit and loss management, including budgeting, cost control, and profitability analysis.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interacting effectively with clients, team members, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills, leading and motivating project teams, managing relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Certification: Relevant certifications in HVAC systems, project management, or safety protocols would be advantageous.
