Backend Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Backend Software Engineer to craft robust, scalable server-side applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implement Backend Services: Utilize Python (FastAPI, Django, Flask) or Node.js (Express, NestJS) to deliver secure, efficient APIs and services that power complex systems.
  • Develop and Maintain APIs: Create and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs for enterprise applications, ensuring they are well-documented and optimized.
  • Database Integration: Integrate applications with relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
  • Security and Authorization: Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms, such as JWT, OAuth2, and SSO, to ensure backend security and compliance.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize backend performance through caching, query tuning, and async processing techniques.
  • Modular Code Development: Build modular, reusable, and testable backend code using best practices and design patterns.
  • Cloud Deployment: Deploy applications in cloud environments, such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, ensuring seamless integration with DevOps teams.
  • DevOps Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong programming experience in Python (FastAPI, Django, Flask) or Node.js (Express, NestJS).
  • Proficiency in SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
  • Experience with ORM tools (SQLAlchemy, Django ORM, Prisma, TypeORM).
  • Knowledge of API best practices (versioning, throttling, documentation).
  • Understanding of enterprise system architecture (microservices, modular monoliths).
  • Familiarity with asynchronous programming.
  • Strong debugging and optimization skills.
