Job Description

We are seeking an experienced iSeries Engineer to join our team. As an iSeries Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-performance applications using RPG on IBM i (AS/400, iSeries) systems.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions and conduct root cause analysis and performance tuning of the applications. You will also be responsible for modernizing legacy RPG code and creating technical documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • 8+ years of experience in RPG development, including RPG IV, RPG ILE, and Free Format RPG.
  • Strong hands-on experience with IBM i (AS/400, iSeries) platforms.
  • Deep understanding of Order Management business processes.
  • Proficiency in CL, DDS, DB2/400, and service programs/modules.
  • Solid experience with EDI, APIs, and integrations between RPG-based and external systems.
  • Proven track record in performance tuning and troubleshooting RPG applications.
