Job Opportunity: Financial Leadership Position

We are seeking an exceptional finance professional to assume the role of a General Ledger Manager. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and experience in financial consolidation and Management Information System (MIS) reporting.

About the Role:

  • This position will be responsible for timely GL closing activities, ensuring accurate financial consolidation.
  • The successful candidate will consolidate data from multiple business units/entities in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Inter company reconciliations and elimination transactions will be performed by this individual.
  • They will also manage chart of accounts consistency across entities.
  • This role will support statutory audit, internal audit, and compliance processes.
  • MIS reports, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements, will be prepared by this individual.
  • Variance analysis between budgeted and actual results will be conducted by them.
  • Financial insights and dashboards for business reviews will be provided by this person.
  • Consolidation and MIS processes will be streamlined and automated using ERP and reporting tools.
  • Internal controls and adherence to financial policies will be maintained.
  • Process gaps will be identified, and improvements in reporting practices will be implemented.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance is required, along with 4-5 years' experience in accounts & finance.
  • Experience in MIS reporting and financial analysis is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards such as IFRS or US GAAP is required.
  • Experience with intercompany reconciliations and elimination entries is necessary.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines are essential.
  • A process improvement mindset with the ability to implement automation and controls is necessary.
