**Job Opportunity:** Assistant Manager, Revenue Accounting and Operations

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our revenue accounting and operations team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in revenue recognition, financial planning and analysis, and leadership.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate recording of revenue per US GAAP and company's revenue recognition policy. They will also review statements of works and ensure appropriate revenue recognition treatment in accordance with ASC 606.

In this role, the Assistant Manager will lead and mentor a team of revenue accountants, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture while championing continuous improvement. They will maintain compliance with internal controls for revenue recognition and related balance sheet accounts, and lead major and ad-hoc process improvements.

The Assistant Manager will participate in internal and external audits, support in preparing and analyzing revenue data for management and partners, and maintain and oversee daily accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and petty cash management.

They will ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, monitor and reconcile cash and sales transactions across all outlets, and establish sound financial policies in tune with the company's operations.

The Assistant Manager will oversee daily cash and sales porting from all outlets into the system, ensure that the data ported is complete, verified, and error-free, and coordinate with outlet staff for resolving discrepancies in real-time.

They will prepare financial documentation and reports for internal and external audits, address audit queries, and ensure timely completion of audit processes. The Assistant Manager will also ensure compliance with statutory financial regulations (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).
