Product Merchandising Expert

A dynamic opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Product Merchandiser to spearhead the management of our jewelry collections from concept to delivery. This role entails analyzing market trends, curating seasonal assortments, coordinating with design, sales, and production teams, and ensuring products meet customer demand, brand aesthetics, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute product merchandising and assortment strategies to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to create innovative and stylish products that cater to customer needs.
  • Conduct market research to track trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity.
  • Curate seasonal collections that strike a balance between classic and modern designs.
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure timely deliveries and minimal stock issues.
  • Support sales and marketing efforts with product knowledge and merchandising expertise.
  • Define pricing and positioning strategies based on cost analysis and market conditions.
  • Oversee quality control and adherence to production timelines to maintain high-quality products.
  • Lead product launches from concept to rollout, ensuring seamless execution and effective communication.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth product flow and enhance collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years' experience in product merchandising, preferably in the jewelry industry.
  • Strong knowledge of jewelry trends, market dynamics, and customer preferences.
  • Skilled in product lifecycle management, inventory control, and supply chain optimization.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, with familiarity with merchandising tools an asset.
  • Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Jewelry Design, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
