Job Description

This position involves leading the merchandising efforts for our B2B team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving business growth through effective merchandise sourcing and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize the buying cycle by leading the Merchandise team.
  • Develop and implement new processes or improve existing ones to enhance procurement strategy and ensure timely production.
  • Ensure on-time fulfillment of products, including capacity planning and production planning with the operations manager, suppliers, and quality control measures.
  • Coordinate with vendors through detailed technical packs and specification sheets.
  • Monitor supplier performance, conduct regular audits, and address any issues or non-compliance.
  • Collaborate with clients to guarantee design packages are complete and accurate.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and sourcing metrics.
  • Train and mentor team members, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high performance.
  • Evaluate and analyze new tools and technologies to automate processes and reporting.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in managing production or sourcing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Technology or Engineering in Textile Technology.
  • Exceptional understanding of garment manufacturing operations and processes.
  • Technical knowledge of pattern and fit development, preferably with AUTO CAD skills.
  • Merchandise sourcing expertise, including sample development and offshore production experience.
  • Advanced Excel and data visualization skills.
  • Digital literacy and ability to implement new technologies and tools.
