Production Planning and Control Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to play a critical part in ensuring the efficient execution of production plans and controlling the flow of materials.

  • Create and Execute Work Orders: Develop and execute work orders for all sub-assemblies and finished goods with precision and accuracy, ensuring timely completion and minimizing delays.
  • Warehouse Collaboration: Effectively collaborate with warehouses to ensure timely kitting activities, reducing lead times and enhancing supply chain efficiency.
  • Engineering Change Orders: Implement Engineering Change Orders for all sub-assemblies to maintain product quality, adhering to strict engineering standards.
  • Material Obsolescence Aging: Track and execute material obsolescence aging to optimize inventory management, reducing waste and improving overall operational efficiency.
  • Work-in-Progress Management: Maintain First Article Test Piece (FATP) Work-in-Progress at a healthy level to meet customer demands, ensuring seamless delivery and minimal stockouts.
  • Customer Commitment: Ensure that customer commitments are met without any gaps or delays, fostering strong relationships and driving business growth.
  • Production Metrics Analysis: Monitor and achieve planned rates through regular review and analysis of production metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Team Collaboration: Conduct daily meetings with Cross Functional Team members to identify and address production losses, assigning responsibilities to the relevant Departmental Responsibility Owners for resolution.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a strong ability to problem-solve and think critically.
