Lead Statistician in Clinical Research

Develop and implement innovative statistical methodologies to enhance current knowledge and practices, while ensuring the scientific integrity of research projects.

  • Job Summary: The Lead Statistician will be responsible for leading the development of statistical methods and applications in clinical research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the work of junior statisticians and programmers, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Develop and review proposed statistical designs for research studies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate results.
  • Participate in the development and updating of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with researchers to design and analyze studies, identifying areas for methodological improvement.
  • Provide expert consultation to projects across the organization, utilizing expertise in state-of-the-art data manipulation and statistical methodology.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in biostatistics, statistics, or a related field; PhD preferred.
  • At least 4 years of experience with a Master's degree or 1 year of experience with a PhD.
  • Strong programming skills in SAS and/or R, with expertise in data manipulation and statistical methodology.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
