Job Title: Senior Data Architect

Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect to join our team. As a key member of the consulting team, you will help clients reinvent their corporate finance function by leveraging advanced analytics.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders to design and implement data strategies in the finance space, including multiple use cases such as controllership, FP&A, and GPO. You will develop technical solutions to deliver scalable analytical solutions using cloud and big data technologies.

You will collaborate with Business Consultants and Product Owners to design and implement technical solutions. Strong communication and organization skills are essential for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and drive end-to-end data and analytics solution architecture from concept to delivery
  • Design, develop, and support conceptual/logical/physical data models for analytics solutions
  • Evaluate industry-accepted data architecture principles, standards, guidelines, and concepts for integration with allied disciplines and coordinated roll-out adoption strategies
  • Drive the design, sizing, setup, etc. of Azure environments and related services
  • Mentor development and business teams on data architecture design and requirements
  • Review solution requirements and architecture to ensure appropriate technology selection, efficient resource utilization, and integration of multiple systems and technology
  • Advise on new technology trends and possible adoption for competitive advantage
  • Participate in pre-sales activities and publish thought leadership
  • Collaborate with founders to drive the technology strategy for the organization
  • Help and lead technology team recruitments in various areas of data analytics
Required Skills and Qualifications

Demonstrated Experience: Delivering multiple data solutions, ETL development (on-premises and in the cloud) using SSIS, Data Factory, and other Microsoft and ETL technologies

In-depth Technical Skills: SQL Server, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, HDInsights, Azure Data Lake, transactional, temporal, time series, structured, and unstructured data

Data Quality Management and Architecture Standardization: Microsoft DQS and other data quality and governance tools

Operational Dependencies Understanding: Applications, networks, systems, security, policy (on-premise and in the cloud; VMs, Networking, VPN, Active Directory, Storage)

Software Development Knowledge: Computer science or software engineering, software development methodologies (Microsoft development lifecycle), OOP principles, Visual Studio, SDKs, PowerShell, CLI

Strong Technical Background: Evergreen knowledge of technology and industry development
