About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled SCADA engineer to lead the design, configuration and deployment of Ignition SCADA and MES applications across manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and experience in real-time data acquisition, visualization and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the architecture and implementation of real-time data acquisition, visualization and reporting solutions
  • Ensure seamless integration of OT systems PLC, SCADA, MES with enterprise IT systems ERP databases cloud
  • Develop and maintain secure efficient data exchange using REST APIs MQTT and OPC UA protocols
  • Manage industrial databases SQL historian timeseries databases for high availability and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to align system capabilities with production and business needs
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong background in MES functions production tracking OEE downtime analysis traceability SPC etc
  • Proficiency with database technologies SQL Server MySQL PostgreSQL or equivalent
  • Experience with OTIT integration technologies REST APIs for system interconnectivity MQTT for IIoT messaging and lightweight communication OPC UA for industrial interoperability
  • Strong knowledge of industrial control systems PLC SCADA HMIs and plant floor connectivity
  • Excellent problem solving communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
