Job Title: Director of Data Migration and Automation

Mandate:

The role involves leading data migration projects in software implementation contexts, focusing on legacy database migration, automation tools, technologies, and database management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership and Management:
    • Lead a team of data migration specialists to execute projects effectively, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members.
  • Data Mapping and Transformation:
    • Develop comprehensive data mapping and transformation plans, ensuring accurate mapping and transformation of IP-related data elements.
  • Automation System Development:
    • Design, architect, and build an automation system for data migration, developing automation processes and workflows to streamline the data migration process.
  • Technical Integration and Customization:
    • Integrate the automation system into the data migration workflow, customizing and optimizing automation processes to accommodate unique data structures and requirements.
  • Quality Assurance and Testing:
    • Establish quality assurance processes and test cases tailored to IP data migration, conducting rigorous testing and validation of the automation system.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to meet business goals and client expectations.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
    • Document migration processes and workflows specific to Intellectual Property data, sharing best practices, lessons learned, and domain-specific expertise with internal teams and clients.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in leading data migration projects in software implementation contexts (10+ years).
  • Familiarity with automation tools and technologies, as well as database management systems and data integration platforms.
  • Experience in the Intellectual Property (IP) domain or related industries is highly desirable.
