  1. Lead the coordination and communication until the resolution of major incidents impacting Azure-based services.
  2. Take ownership of incidents, assemble cross-functional teams, and drive the incident management process to resolution.
  3. Provide in-depth technical guidance to incident response teams, leveraging a deep understanding of Azure services, infrastructure, and configurations.
  4. Collaborate effectively with technical teams, support staff, and stakeholders to ensure a swift and effective response to major incidents.
  5. Maintain detailed incident records, including timelines, actions taken, and resolutions.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  2. 7 - 9 years of proven experience in managing major incidents, particularly in Azure cloud environments.
  3. Mandatory: ITIL Certification.
  4. Highly desirable:
    1. Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect).
    2. Strong technical background with a deep understanding of Azure services and infrastructure.
    3. Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively coordinate incident response activities.
    4. Familiarity with incident management frameworks and best practices.
    5. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to incident resolution.
    6. Strong analytical and documentation skills.
