Manufacturing Operations Leader

The ideal candidate will drive productivity, quality and profitability through lean methodologies, robust preventive maintenance systems and continuous improvement initiatives. They must be experienced in leading operations within a manufacturing site and have a proven track record of achieving on-time delivery targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Lead the implementation of zero-defect systems and ensure compliance with Quality and Environmental Management System standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
  • Manage performance management systems and maintain strong industrial relations

Qualifications:

  • Strong background in mechanical engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing industry, with 5+ years in a leadership role
  • Expertise in lean manufacturing processes and continuous improvement techniques

Bonus points for a Mechanical Engineering degree and proven leadership skills.
