Institutional Investment Operations Leadership Position

This role involves supervising a team that handles complex transactional tasks. As an Institutional Investment Operations Associate Manager, you will support the lifecycle of Institutional trading while managing a group in one of several key functions.
The position entails:
- Supervising a team working on complex transactions;
- Supporting the lifecycle of Institutional trading by managing a group in functions such as client account onboarding, cash payments, customer service, funding operations, custodial operations, securities settlement services, structured loan operations, general ledger reconciliation, and resolving confirmation and ISDA-related issues;
- Tax form validation, including W-9, W-8BEN, W-BEN-E, ECI, and IMY; Withholding; Cost basis; and IRS Tax reporting;
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and risk control development;
- Collaborating with business partners and various departments to create efficiencies and mitigate risks for the team and organization;
- Making daily supervisory decisions for a team of analysts and resolving issues related to team supervision, work allocation, and daily operations;
- Leveraging interpretation of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements;
- Collaborating with professionals at all levels, including experienced managers;
- Leading the team to achieve objectives and strategy;
- Managing the allocation of people and financial resources for the Institutional Investment Operations group;
- Mentoring and guiding talent development among direct reports and assisting in hiring talent;
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Institutional Investment Operations or equivalent, demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education;
- A minimum of 1 year of leadership experience.
