We are seeking experienced engineers who design scalable systems while maintaining a startup mindset.

  • We need you to design and build efficient, stable, and observable systems for the e-commerce space.
  • You will influence the design and architecture of our system, considering aspects such as fault tolerance, availability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with software engineers and platform experts to optimize and develop repeatable systems.
  • You will help us build realistic Service Level Objectives (SLOs), set Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and error budgets.
  • Provide production support and creatively solve challenging engineering problems.
  • Participate in a shared on-call schedule managed across Engineering teams.
  • Mentor new hires and other engineers by example, tech talks, paired programming, and other avenues.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in DevOps or SRE, or software development, with an understanding of Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Experience with cloud platforms GCP, AWS, Azure, and containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with server-side software engineering (Python, Go, Java, BASH, etc).
  • Strong understanding of monitoring and alerting, with a focus on performance monitoring and tracing instrumentation, and SLI/SLO/SLAs.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
