Job Title: Content Editor

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a comprehensive review of 5000+ words of high-level content daily to ensure style, grammar, and factual accuracy.
  • Create compelling blog posts, website content, marketing content, product descriptions, and long-form marketing copy as required.
  • Understand the impact of compelling copy on paid media and social platforms in the digital space.
  • Develop content that engages diverse sets of consumers.
  • Research various topics to create plagiarism-free, excellent-quality content across industries.
  • Utilize SEO tools and guidelines to help create content and drive traffic towards client websites.
  • Generate ideas for new content topics, write, edit, and proofread all content pieces for inconsistencies or errors.
  • Plan a content calendar/delivery schedule and update stakeholders on project/delivery status regularly.
  • Contribute to and lead content strategy efforts on assigned accounts.
  • Mentor writers and help them develop their writing skills.
  • Ensure overall consistency across projects and follow applicable style guides for varying clients.
  • Update content on client websites as needed.
  • Develop compelling headlines, sub-headlines, and body copies to capture the target audience's attention.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office – particularly Microsoft Word.
  • A keen understanding of the digital marketing spectrum and social media platforms.
  • Strong logic, reasoning, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts and explain them in simple terms.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • An eye for detail and meticulousness while creating content.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Openness to learning about subjects across different industries.
  • Team players with a positive mindset towards work and ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
