As a cloud developer, you will have the opportunity to deliver transformative experiences by leveraging your skills in software architecture and design, as well as cloud technologies like DevOps and Jenkins. Our proprietary platform serves North American property and casualty product lines, and we are seeking a skilled developer to join our team.

All About the Role:

  • Develop high-quality software by adhering to software engineering principles and best practices.
  • Foster a culture of first-time right, automation, reusability, maintainability, and secure coding in daily work.
  • Create holistic designs for development using Test-Driven Development to ensure capabilities' reusability & extensibility in future versions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify project scope, estimate timelines, and propose approaches for features/epics.
  • Implement architectural and design principles to enhance performance, capacity, and scalability of products.
  • Work independently within a SAFe Agile model with developers, BAs, Architects to ensure end-business goals are met.
  • Promote conversations with internal and external stakeholders to guarantee delivered software meets business objectives and is of highest quality.
  • Participate in code reviews (self and team) and suggest/fix defects/design issues identified.
  • Guarantee On-Time delivery of product features as per the Product Roadmap.
  • SUPPORT issue analysis/triaging and provide fixes during test phases, as well as production issue resolution to meet key Product SLAs.
  • Ensure thorough unit testing & participate in application components transition to testers.
  • Present features in product demos to wider audiences/customers.

All About You:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Java /. Net / Oracle / SQL and web services software architecture and design (REST/SOAP).
  • Experience with cloud applications including DevOps, Deployment, Jenkins, Jira.
  • Exposure to RESTFul Webservices & API framework, OAS3 APIs.

Other Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience with Agile Development practices and processes.
  • Knowledge of Majesco Platforms/Products advantageous.
  • Preferred experience in developing packaged software (Products) preferably in banking, insurance, or financial services areas.
