Dean - Computer Science

About the Role:

We are seeking a visionary academic leader to shape the future of computer science education. As Dean, you will provide strategic direction and administrative oversight for the Department of Computer Science.

You will play a critical role in advancing excellence in teaching, research, innovation, and collaboration with industry.

  • Lead the Computer Science faculty in designing and delivering innovative academic programs.
  • Oversee curriculum development, research initiatives, and faculty development.
  • Manage departmental budgets, policies, and resource allocation.
  • Guide students' academic progression, placements, and overall development.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, ethics, inclusivity, and academic excellence.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic record, significant research publications, and at least 5 years of leadership/administrative experience.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Ph.D. or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
  • Proven ability to lead large teams, manage academic programs, and handle institutional administration.
  • Strong industry connect and vision for emerging technologies like AI, Data Science, Cloud Computing, and Cybersecurity.
