Role: Healthcare AI Fellow (Engineering)

This is a full-time contract position for 6 months with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role as an AI Engineer based on performance.

About the Role:

  • Rapidly design, build, and refine multi-agent, LLM-driven AI pipelines.
  • Develop unique evaluation frameworks and tooling that shape the entire engineering team's approach.
  • Engage daily in collaborative problem-solving with clinicians, data architects, and seasoned ML engineers.

Required Skills:

  • Advanced Python programming skills and expert proficiency in at least one major ML framework (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX).
  • Proven track record of rapidly deploying robust, production-grade AI solutions.
  • Demonstrated high agency, rapid iteration capability, and ownership of outcomes.

Nice-to-have Skills:

  • Experience with retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, or agent orchestration.
  • Familiarity with healthcare standards and constraints (training provided).

Success Metrics in Six Months:

  • Launch production-grade, multi-agent AI solutions directly impacting healthcare providers globally.
  • Establish reusable technical assets that become integral to operational frameworks.
  • Deliver clear improvements in model accuracy, scalability, and reliability.
