Job Opportunity

Position: Assistant Manager Finance & Accounts

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end accounting operations for a regional branch.
  • Maintain the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements and reports.
  • Supervise key financial functions, including vendor payments, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

Leadership and Governance:

  • Lead taxation, statutory compliance, and audit-related activities for the branch.
  • Implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.

Financial Management:

  • Monitor budgets and control costs to optimize financial performance.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to the branch's accounts team.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for financial matters within the branch.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 8-10 years of experience in finance and accounting.
  • Proven track record of managing full-cycle accounting operations.

Technical Expertise:

  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and cost management.
  • Expertise in statutory compliance, taxation, and audit requirements.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Previous experience in logistics or freight forwarding.
  • Hands-on experience with financial management software or ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of global financial processes and cross-border transactions.
