Backend Developer Position

We are seeking a seasoned Backend Engineer to develop scalable backend systems using Node.js (NestJS framework preferred) and TypeScript.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in GraphQL API design and implementation, as well as proficiency in PostgreSQL and Azure cloud architecture. Experience with Azure OpenAI integrations, OCR pipelines, and event-driven real-time systems such as WebSocket connections is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain backend applications using Node.js (NestJS) and TypeScript.
  • Design and implement GraphQL APIs and multiple system integrations.
  • Architect, optimize, and scale backend systems on Azure Container Apps.
  • Implement Azure OpenAI integrations and OCR pipelines.
  • Work on both monolithic and microservices-based architectures.
  • Design and integrate event-driven, real-time systems with WebSocket connections.
  • Maintain high unit test coverage for all code developed.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in backend engineering.
  • Strong expertise in Node.js (NestJS framework preferred).
  • Proficiency in TypeScript with a focus on scalable architecture.
  • Hands-on experience in GraphQL API design, implementation, and integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and Azure cloud (Container Apps, scaling, performance tuning).
  • Experience with Azure OpenAI integrations and OCR pipelines.
  • Proven background in monolithic and microservices architectures.
  • Experience with event-driven systems, real-time processing, and WebSockets.
