Job Opening: Data Engineering Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineering Analyst to fill this key role. As a Data Engineering Analyst, you will be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale data systems that drive business insights and decision-making.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Administer, monitor, and maintain SQL Server databases (on-prem and cloud-based)
  • Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
  • Configure and maintain AlwaysOn Availability Groups for high availability and disaster recovery
  • Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and index management
  • Manage database security, including role-based access control and auditing
  • Apply patches, upgrades, and support version migrations (e.g., SQL Server 2008 to 2019+)
  • Automate routine tasks using T-SQL, PowerShell, or other scripting tools
  • Collaborate with application developers and infrastructure teams to support deployments and troubleshoot issues
  • Document database environments, configurations, and procedures

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, and 5+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA in enterprise environments. Familiarity with Azure SQL, Azure Migrate, and Data Migration Assistant is also required. A solid understanding of database security, encryption, and compliance standards is necessary. Proficiency in T-SQL, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), and SQL Server Agent is expected.
