Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to oversee the day-to-day activities of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of construction methods and standards, proficiency in reading drawings and specifications, and excellent leadership and team coordination skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise site activities, ensuring work execution as per drawings, specifications, quality, and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and laborers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Manage resources such as manpower, materials, and machinery efficiently.
  • Maintain site records including daily progress reports, material usage, and work measurement.
  • Assist in preparing bar bending schedules, measurement sheets, and work bills.
  • Conduct quality checks for concrete, steel, shuttering, finishing works, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with IS codes and safety norms.

Key Skills Required:

  • Strong technical knowledge of construction methods and standards
  • Proficiency in reading drawings and specifications
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and project planning tools (preferred)
  • Good leadership and team coordination skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making ability

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • 1-3 years of civil engineering experience related to site design, land development and land use permitting
  • Experience with AutoCAD
