Process Safety Discipline Lead

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Process Safety Discipline Lead to manage process safety activities and personnel on global projects. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in process safety engineering, including design development, safety monitoring, and quality control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate process safety work for global business units, ensuring compliance with process safety codes and standards.
- Review and provide design recommendations for new projects and facility modifications, ensuring conformance with process safety and loss prevention codes.
- Assist in on-the-job training of assigned personnel and provide input for their performance evaluations.
- Prepare or assist in the preparation of conceptual studies, designs, reports, and proposals.
- Prepare and/or assist in the preparation of cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and staffing requirements for proposals, forecasts, and change orders.
- Review and check the work of subordinate engineers.
Requirements:
- Mechanical or Chemical Engineer with 18+ years of relevant experience in FEED and Detailed Engineering of LNG, Petrochemicals, refinery, buildings, clean rooms, metro, airports, etc.
- Extensive experience in process safety activities, including design of fire protection systems, fireproofing schedules, and hazardous area classification.
- Working knowledge of various International codes and standards, including NFPA, IBC, IFC.
- Supervision of small teams of process safety engineers.
