Enterprise Security Expert

  • Develop and execute comprehensive security strategies to protect against emerging threats, ensuring the integrity of sensitive data and systems.
  • Design and implement robust security frameworks to safeguard enterprise assets, leveraging expertise in endpoint detection and response, vulnerability management, device trust, and identity lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to integrate key security systems, driving seamless operation and maximum ROI.
  • Create detailed documentation and runbooks for critical security processes, empowering team members and stakeholders with essential knowledge.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to Security Operations teams on security investigations and incident management, contributing to improved incident response and reduced risk exposure.
  • Drive the development and implementation of automated security tooling, such as just-in-time access management, least privilege access, and other security engineering priorities.
  • Lead by example, embodying Samsara's cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) while scaling globally and across new offices.

Requirements:

  • Proven expertise in enterprise security, encompassing extensive experience managing endpoint security, identity lifecycle, or device trust efforts.
  • Significant experience (4+ years) in enterprise security within the technology sector.
  • Ability to collaborate and mentor security operations analysts through documentation writing, code pairing, and other activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience building and implementing security programs using modern SaaS platforms, such as Zscaler, Crowdstrike, Wiz, Splunk, and other tools.
  • Expertise in driving efforts around least privilege, just-in-time access management, and identity lifecycle management.
