Structural Integrity Specialist

Job Overview:

  • Evaluate and analyze metallic and composite aircraft structures to ensure compliance with static design requirements.
  • Extract critical loads, stresses, material properties, and geometry details from part and assembly drawings.
  • Apply relevant static design values and standards to validate structural integrity.
  • Develop and refine Finite Element Models (FEMs) using geometric data to simulate real-world scenarios.
  • Conduct sizing of primary and secondary structures to meet static load requirements.
  • Perform detailed joint analysis and calculate Reserve Factors (RF) for various failure modes, including:
  • Strength
  • Buckling (Column & Panel)
  • Shear panel failure
  • Identify and implement mitigations for low RF values using classical or numerical methods.
  • Compile stress certification reports, including ACD4 and SSR documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance and maintain the highest level of quality.
