Job Description

As a senior software architect, you will lead the design and development of complex data pipelines handling massive cybersecurity and IT data sets. This role requires expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable data systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, excellent programming skills, and experience working with large data sets. Additionally, they should be proficient in multiple programming languages, including Python, Java, or Scala, and have a good understanding of database systems such as Postgres and MongoDB.

  • 7+ years of experience in Computer Science or a related field
  • Expert-level programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala
  • Strong knowledge of SQL databases such as Postgres and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
  • Experience with search engine databases such as ElasticSearch is preferred
  • Time-series databases such as InfluxDB, Druid, Prometheus

  • Design and implement features for ingesting, storing, and manipulating large data sets
  • Develop backend support for data-driven UI widgets, web dashboards, workflows, search, and API connectors
  • Design and implement web services, REST APIs, and microservices
  • Build production-quality solutions that balance complexity and meet acceptance criteria
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including ML, UI, backend, and data engineering
