Are you passionate about delivering high-quality data and ensuring seamless workflow processes? We're looking for a meticulous Data Specialist to manage upstream data cleaning and quality assurance tasks for our rapidly growing product offering insights on software companies.

About The Role:

You will be responsible for defining transactions belonging to a vendor across various downstream processes, client-facing feeds, and applications using advanced RegEx and Python code within Databricks notebooks.

Collaboration with our global Data Product team is crucial, and you will have the opportunity to optimize processes and tooling for identifying software vendors, tagging, cleaning, and utilizing data output to enrich a library of data-driven private company intelligence.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Define and categorize transactions associated with a vendor.
  • Conduct thorough research on software vendors to identify products, subsidiaries, and alternative names.
  • Search through raw financial transaction data and develop complex RegEx and Python code to capture relevant entries associated with a vendor.
  • Run comprehensive data quality assurance checks to review accuracy of coded logic.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve process efficiency and tooling.
Requirements:
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • 1-3+ years of experience as a data or quality assurance analyst.
  • Ability to collaborate with global teams and work with international clients.
  • Strong English proficiency and knowledge of the English language (spoken, written).
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Regex programming languages.
