Automation Tester

We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester to design, develop and maintain robust automation frameworks for web, API and backend testing.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automation testing, with strong expertise in building automation frameworks.

They should be proficient in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript or Java, and have experience with REST API testing and integrating API validations into automation pipelines.

Additionally, they should be familiar with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions or CircleCI, and have a solid understanding of test design principles, test coverage analysis and automation strategy.

Our team works closely with product managers and developers to understand requirements and define automation strategies. As an individual contributor without team lead or managerial responsibilities, you will work on implementing automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support frequent and reliable deployments.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts that ensure product quality across different modules.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to understand requirements and define automation strategies.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support frequent and reliable deployments.
  • Analyze test failures, conduct root cause analysis and contribute to faster resolution of defects.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in automation testing only.
  • Strong experience in building automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript or Java.
  • Experience with REST API testing and integrating API validations into automation pipelines.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions or CircleCI.
  • Solid understanding of test design principles, test coverage analysis and automation strategy.
  • Hands-on experience working in Agile or Scrum-based environments.
  • Experience with tools like JIRA, TestRail or similar for test and defect management.
